Przy przebiegach powyżej 10000 wyzwoleń, czasy naświetlania w G2 potrafią się “rozjeżdżać”. O ile przy fotografowaniu na materiałach negatywowych nie będzie to zauważalne, dużo bardziej wyczulone na błędy ekspozycji materiały slajdowe mogą być źle naświetlone.
Jeśli mechanicznie migawka pracuje bez problemów i prędkość przebiegu kurtyn są w granicach normy, możliwe jest wykonanie elektronicznej kalibracji zgodnie z zaleceniami producenta, z użyciem testera migawek Kyoritsu EF-8000, wskazanego do tej procedury.
Jeśli prędkość przebiegu kurtyn oraz różnica pomiędzy nimi jest poza normą, należy wykonać pełny serwis migawki, kalibracja elektroniczną będzie niewystarczająca.

With shutter counts above 10,000 releases, the exposure times on the G2 can start to drift. While this might not be noticeable when shooting with negative films, slide films, which are much more sensitive to exposure errors, may end up being incorrectly exposed.
If the shutter operates mechanically without issues and the curtain speeds are within normal limits, an electronic calibration can be performed according to the manufacturer's recommendations, using the Kyoritsu EF-8000 shutter tester, which is specifically indicated for this procedure.
If the curtain speeds and the difference between them are outside the normal range, a full shutter service is required, as electronic calibration alone will not be sufficient.
