Every owner of a Hasselblad XPan fears this fault – error code 8888 – shutter and/or shutter motor failure.
This issue can also present itself with a different error code, or a whistling sound from the shutter motor during operation, or improper shutter operation.
We offer a comprehensive regeneration of worn-out parts, or for the most demanding customers, we can attempt to source a new shutter motor for replacement. However, the replacement cost would be at least twice as much. Interested parties are welcome to contact us.
